With peak power ranging from 250 to 330 Crankshaft Horse Power, this turbocharger offers a significant performance boost.

Specification of the turbocharger

The process of building a MACHGRADE turbocharger involves precision engineering and meticulous attention to detail. One of the key steps in this process is the use of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining. This advanced technology allows for precise control over the modification of the compressor housing and seal plate, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal performance.


  • Custom journal bearings ‘360’ – These bearings reduce friction within the turbocharger, allowing it to spin more freely and reach higher RPMs. This results in quicker turbo spooling and reduced turbo lag, providing a more responsive and enjoyable driving experience.
  • Modified compressor housing – This CNC modification allows for the fitment of larger compressor wheels, increasing the volume of air that can be pushed into the engine. This results in higher power output and improved acceleration.
  • Modified seal plate
  • Enlarged/custom compressor Billet Wheel 6+6 blades – These wheels are designed with a specific number of blades, each carefully shaped and angled to maximize the flow of air into the engine.   • Genuine Turbine Wheel clipped and lightened to reduce backpressure – Clipping the turbine wheel reduces backpressure and improves exhaust flow, while lightening the wheel allows it to spin up more quickly.
