MACHGRADE IS20 Upgraded Turbocharger is built using Custom Billet Compressor Wheel and Clipped/Enlarged Turbine Wheel. The turbo is based on a stock, genuine IHI IS20 turbocharger. A fantastic Plug&Play solution for Audi and VW with 2.0TFSI longitudinal and transverse engines producing 211-230HP.

There are two versions available of the IS20 hybrid turbocharger with a peak power range of 370-420 Crankshaft Horse Power, as follows:

MACHGRADE IS20 370

Hybrid Turbocharger ready to make ~370 Crankshaft Horse Power. Full list of changes applied:

• MACHGRADE custom journal bearings “360”,
• Modification of the compressor housing,
• Modification of seal plate,
• Modification of turbine housing,
• Enlarged&Custom compressor Billet Wheel 6+6 blades,
• Clipped and Lightened Turbine Wheel from IS38 to reduce backpressure,

MACHGRADE IS20 420

Hybrid Turbocharger ready to make ~420 Crankshaft Horse Power. The full list of changes applied is the same as with the 370 package, with the exception of a bigger Billet Compressor Wheel and 8 Blade Turbine Wheel.

Performance Capabilities

To reach declared levels of power, you need to adjust your fuel, exhaust, and cooling systems as well. Professional ECU remapping is required.
